The West has nicknamed this combat vehicle a lying tank. It accelerates up to 50miles per hour, performs bootlegger reverses and jumps up to 46feet. Combat Approved will show a two-part film about the T-80, the only Russian tank with a gas turbine engine. In the first part the journalists of the program will go visit the 61st Armored Factory in Saint-Petersburg, where they repair almost all of our tanks today. And there they will test the reliability of the upgraded T-80 gun. They will do it in an unusual way: they will fire it at a target with a wooden log. The whole process will be filmed by a high-speed camera. Then the film crew of Combat Approved will conduct a unique experiment - using a special device they will compare the noise level of the T-80 and the noise of an ordinary car to find out who and how drives quieter.
