A message from LEXXE- Santa Sangre was born after seeing someone on a train that looked like a man who had done something intrusive to me and got away with it. I thought about how that person was an intruder, just like the intruders who inflicted catastrophic damage on my ancestors. This piece of work is very special to me. I’ve grown so much, and I’ve found my power. My therapist told me recently that liking the darkness is only just a preference for the moon, a nocturnal preference.
