Prelude by Mr Finger (sp12b)

Gottfried (Godfrey) Finger (c1660-1730): Prelude (page 12/2) from ’Select PRELUDES and VOLLENTARYS for the FLUTE ... by all the eminent masters in Europe’, 1708 (cover on the screen). G. Finger was a Moravian composer who worked in England under James II’s patronage until 1702, then in Germany; wrote operas and other stage music as well as instrumental works including many sonatas.
