Dzongsar Pottery School (Participatory Video - Tibetan)

This is a short participatory video about the Dzongsar Pottery School created by a team of individuals from Dzongsar’s Yothok Yonden Gonpo Medical Association. It was edited by project facilitator Tsering Perlo. BACKGROUND Dzongsar is located in the upper reaches of the Yangtze and Yellow Rivers, in Kham, eastern Tibet. The area is about 5000 square kilometers and ranges from 11,500 23,500 feet in altitude. The Dzongsar Valley is home to about 12,000 Tibetans, whose livelihood mainly depends on he
