Panzerballett - The Simpsons Drum Cover by David Diepold
Hello everyone
Needless to say, but this was also quite a challenge!
I wanted to do something different, so I chose a song from Panzerballett. The main reason was because of the Jazz part. I always wanted to learn how to play with brushes, but I never had a good reason to do so.
Obviously I’m still far away from being able to play such patterns in a smooth and delicate way, but I tried my best.
Of course it’s not perfect!
When it comes to gear I’m using
Dixon MBS shells (2x22“, 8“, 10“, 12“, 13“, 16“, 18“)
A maple main Snare (14“x6,5“)
A self-made side Snare (10“x I guess 5,5“)
Axis A-longboards
A Roland SPD-S and Pedaltriggers for triggering (bass drums)
And Murat Diril Cymbals:
12“ black sea trash hats - closed
18“ rock china
14“ rock china
14“ luminous hi hat
8“ & 9“ luminous splash
17“ rock crash
16 speckled cr
