Ideal Glaze for Painting Gingerbread and Cookies. Glaze on Egg White with powdered Sugar.
Ingredients:
Protein 1 piece (30g)
Powdered sugar 200 g
Corn starch 1 tsp.
Lemon juice (or diluted acid) 0.5 tsp.
How to replace lemon juice: dilute a pinch of citric acid in a small amount of water - 1-2 tsp.
Making the glaze is simple. Combine powdered sugar with starch, lemon juice and egg white. Beat on low speed for 3 minutes. Cover with a wet towel for 15-20 minutes. This is a thick glaze for contours, gluing gingerbread parts, for inscriptions, and drawing small details. For a beautiful, even fill, you need to dilute the glaze with water.
