Unfriendly skies: Cases of unruly passengers soar as air travel makes a comeback
Air travel is making a resurgence as COVID-19 pandemic measures are starting to ease. But, the comeback is also seeing a soaring number of unruly and even violent passengers back onboard.
Airlines in the United States have reported 3,000 incidents of unruly passengers in 2021—
much higher than usual.
Jackson Proskow looks at some high-profile in-flight cases from this year, and why airlines in Canada and around the world are bracing for more aggressive behaviour.
