Selfmade Tagelharpa - Jouhikko + Framedrum ᛭ÐRIÐJA᛭ (midsummer ruin)

᛭ÐRIÐJA᛭ is the third model out of six of my current bowed lyre miniseries. This short-piece was inspired by and written during midsummer. The world exhales. Winter stands on it’s very first step. An infant. A distant idea. A faint memory of a new beginning. Slowly moving forward through heat and sweat. Summer melts through wind and earth. Soon we may lay ourselves to rest again during the cold night. Let us celebrate while we stand on this very brink. Let us merge with our true selves. Let us change!
