Prince Henry (1926)

Wrexham, Clwyd, Cheshire. Title: “Prince Henry opens Memorial Hospital“. L/S, looking over the heads of a crowd, of a platform in front of a hospital entrance. Several men stand on the platform, including Prince Henry, the Duke of Gloucester. A man in a dog collar gives a speech. Prince Henry, standing to the speaker’s right, steps down from the platform and goes to enter the hospital. The other dignitaries on the platform follow. Note: according to original issue sheet this story was shown in `Liverpool and Manchester only’. A Pathe website user has informed us that this event took place on 9th June 1926.
