I rejoice in following your statutes3 Nehemiah 9:34 Our kings, our leaders, our priests and our ancestors did not follow your law; they did not pay attention to your commands or the statutes you warned them to keep. As we examine the book of Nehemiah we see a very important aspect of the restoration process for God’s people. Understand that this must be done by you and for me if we desire to be restored by our God. And nehemiah’s day the people had to confess their sins before God God knows the mistakes that we have made but he wants to hear us acknowledge that we have made them and that he was right all the while. May you and I be willing to confess our sins and God will be willing to restore us and put us back in the rightful place in Jesus mighty and precious name we pray.
