Arnold Mindell: Author, Teacher, Psychologist, Dreamer -- PART 2: Breathing Jung In and On
Part 2: Breathing Jung In and On: The Evolution of Process-Oriented Psychology & Processwork
This lively and informal interview with Arny Mindell was filmed in December 2021. It is a broad discussion of his life and work creating “Process-oriented Psychology”. Arny’s interview with Cathy Bernatt was filmed by Jerry Grant with love and support from Amy Mindell. Parts 3 4 of this film will be uploaded soon. (Please note that a separate film about Amy and Arny’s relationship will be uploaded in the near future.)
In Part 2, Arny dives deeper into his love of psychology and the life-long influence that Jung had on him. We learn about Arny’s development as an empirical researcher and scientist. Arny shares how he came to develop the Dreambody. We learn about the move from Switzerland and the start of the Process Work center in Oregon, and Arny begins to describe the development of Worldwork (small and large group work) and breathing Jung On.
