Cybernaut Club meets Jane Berwick

Jane Berwick (pro: BEAR - IK) spent most of her formative years living abroad building her career as an adult-learning-professional, outside her home country of Canada. What was supposed to be a one-year stint, teaching English to adults in Japan, turned into a 15-year journey and a career spanning multiple cities around Asia and now in the UK. She has worked in many diverse settings from corporate environments in Learning and Development, to start-ups, not-for-profit, and luxury travel, heading up large- and small-scale training programmes for adults. initially wanting to pursue graduate studies in linguistics, Jane found her calling in adult education, Jane studied professional identity formation in cross-cultural contexts for her graduate research. A topic that continues to fascinate her to this day.
