Casadesus ’’J C Bach’’ Cello Concerto in C Minor, Joseph Schuster, Mono 1953

(Falsely attrib. to J.C, Bach) Joseph Schuster (1903-1969 ) was the first cellist of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under Furtwängler and later the first cellist of the New York Philharmonic Symphony (1943-1944). Later, He began his solo career, performing in concerts under great conductors of the time, such as Toscanini. Walter, Mitropoulos, Solti, and many others. Henry Casadesus and his brother wrote music and described it as “rediscovered“ compositions of past composers. Such is this concerto that for a long time was considered as J.C. Bach Cello concerto.
