Sarmanto was commissioned to compose a jazz mass form St Peter’s Chruch in New York and he included this hymn of praise to the twin pillars of jazz Duke Ellington and John Coltrane
According to the sleeve notes this track is a synthesis of Finish folk and American gospel
Although it was composed to be played in the US, the LP is a live recording from Helsinki, Temppeliaukio Church which is shown on the cover.
