🇫🇷 ’I was bored by monotonous Europe.’ Meet Patrice Le Lann, who embarked on an extraordinary journey by relocating from France to Russia 🇷🇺 in 1994, and has since spent nearly 30 years living and working there. He ventured into the beauty industry, dealing with cosmetics and perfumes 💄 and ultimately transitioning to become a winemaker 🍷🍇 in the Crimea and Rostov regions. His brand is called Domaine de La Vivandiere, and holds deep historical ties to Crimea and Sevastopol. 🥇 Patrice Le Lann draws inspiration from General Patrice de Mac-Mahon’s famous quote, ’J’y suis, j’y reste’ as a motto - ’I am here, and I will stay.’ He has committed himself to his lands and his life’s work. Experiencing the onset of the Russia-Ukraine conflict 💥he philosophically reflects and states, “We’ve endured COVID, and now military operations. That’s life—it’s not the end of the world.“ 🌍 Patrice Le Lann has Russian roots, but never thought about living in Russia.
