“Unconscious Castaways“ is a peaceful sweet piano solo melody. This music is inspired by the sense of disorientation, which can be unconscious. There are many cases in life in which one can find oneself in this condition, either due to mental health problems or due to some emotional states. So I imagined myself lost in confused thoughts, wandering in search of lost mind, or very faded and melancholy memories of life. The result is a contemplative piece, at times suspended in a surreal and dreamlike atmosphere. Thus the cartoon-style video also evokes the parallel dimension where thoughts are lost towards the horizon. “Unconscious Castaways“ is part of the album “Glass Boxes“: I imagined glass houses on the bed of the sea, when the tide goes out and gives way to the big beach. Inside the houses, people live, but are sometimes prisoners when the tide rises. They can only go out when the sea is low... And so are their emotions.
