The eighties were an era of excess. The party never stopped, the music was awesome and the fashions - well, they were bold to say the least. No show ever as perfectly encapsulated its era as Miami: Vice, which merged the music and style of MTV with a hardcore police procedural, with none other than Michael Mann as its showrunner. It made icons out of its two stars, Don Johnson as Sonny Crockett and Philip Michael Thomas as Rico Tubbs, and ran for five seasons. Are all of them winners? No. Once Michael Mann left in season three, things got uneven, but as we’ll show you in our latest installment of “Gone But Not Forgotten“ - when this show was good it was great! So pop “In The Air Tonight“ into the Spotify playlist, slip on some loafers and enjoy!
