Earth Rotation Speed

People often describe the Earth as “spinning“ - but it takes 24 hours to make one full rotation. This simulation shows the Earth rotating in (1) real time, (2) one minute increments, (3) one hour increments, and (4) with time sped up to 106x real time rate. The Earth does not “spin“, it “rotates“. The software I used is Starry Night Pro (Version 6)
