A RebornOS First Look & Installing

In This Video We Are Looking At The version of RebornOS , a desktop GNU/Linux distribution based on Arch Linux with support for Flatpak packages, has been released. Packages of the version are available in mirrors for download. It is stated that in the new version, in addition to GRUB, a bootloader selection screen for EFI installations and Systemd-boot and rEFInd support have been added, while it is reminded that GRUB is still the only option for BIOS/Legacy boot. It is stated that if grub is not selected, the installer will not install os-prober, and the fstab creation process is moved later during the installation process to prevent problems with encrypted volumes. While it is stated that the installer debug window can be launched by clicking on the RebornOS logo, the ISO Welcome application is now said to automatically update the installer only for new minor patch versions from Github. It is stated that by updating the installer and ISO from upstream, new features and bug fixes are introduced and minor fixes are made to the installer configuration. Although the Live template only comes with the GNOME desktop environment, RebornOS also allows the user to use the KDE Plasma, Deepin, Budgie, MATE, OpenBox, i3, Xfce, Enlightenment and LXQT desktop environments.
