The FLAC link contains the source files from which I encoded the Ogg Vorbis versions (including the bonuses). This is the original soundtrack of the game Marathon Eternal roughly as it appears in 1.2, with two bonus songs, “Phasmidia elegans” (which appeared in previous versions but was cut from 1.2) and “Hallucinate” (which AFAIK was never used due to its short length, but is included in the OST folder anyway). I also appended fade-outs to “Hallucinate”, “Illusions”, and “Iron Gates”, which are meant to loop continuously. All but one of Craig’s songs are remixes of Alex Seropian’s Marathon soundtrack. Nicholas’ pieces are mash-ups of the Marathon soundtrack and Martin O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori’s Halo soundtrack. “Phasmidia elegans” and Thomas and Eike’s pieces are original compositions. My only contribution to these songs was remastering them. I explained both my rationale and process for remastering them in a Pfhorums post: These songs were roughly in order of first in-game appearance when I made the video (with the two bonus tracks before the chapter five songs), but we’ve since rejiggered the level music. I played slightly fast and loose with the chronology anyhow; I wanted “Fat Man” and “What About Bob?” near the end. The main title theme, which plays over the ending, ends the video (it’s also the startup music). Marathon Eternal 1.2 was officially released on March 28, 2019. Eternal 1.3 (formerly ) is currently nearing release candidate status and will hopefully appear later in 2020, with and 1.4 planned after that. (Lastly, a belated thanks to Grace Lieberman at Arizona State University’s State Press for linking my video! )
