DIY NOISE BOX - Piezo element and springs (including sound test).
I built another noise box and thought I would slap together a little video documenting the process. While there are no new ideas here or anything, I do think there are some worthwhile little tips here for new DIY’ers. These are not hard to make and are certainly capable of producing some interesting sounds, so I would recommend putting one together as an afternoon project.
I included a brief sound test at the end to give an idea of what kind of sounds these noise boxes can make. With some delay and reverb it does a good job of sounding eerie and haunting.
The sound test was made using Reaper with TAL Reverb 4 and a simple delay plugin.
