My opinion is that he swallowed a lot of BLOOD from a mouth injury he obtained early in the fight and once the action had cooled down his body/stomach rejected the blood, hence the vomiting in the cage. It turns out that it was not blood that Paddy vomited, it was actually a Ferrero Rocher chocolate and hot chocolate drink he had consumed prior to the fight. COMMON SENSE!
