Her first contact with the electronic movement in Oporto started soon after her arrivel, becoming part of the crew and DJ of “Quarta Bass”, and D&B label “Counterpoint” family member. She had a monthly residence at “Big Bad Bank” and a weekly residence at “Era uma vez em Paris”, alternating also with some more sporadic gigs in Porto, Vigo and Celorico de Basto. In the last two years she has been making livestreams for many different projects, including Foundation Festival and The Secret Lounge Radio. She was born surrounded with the newest sounds of the 80’s-90’s like Acid House, Acid Techno, Synth Pop, Detroit house and even techno, with names like Grace Jones, Donna Summer, The Communards, among others. She discovered and felt in love with the dance floor at an early age and was very influenced by a special place called “Vademecwm“, a club in Vigo that received in the 90s artists like Michael Mayer, Kalkbrenner, Ellen Allien, Superpitcher, My Robot Friend, Plastikman, and many more. These experiences together with a life time of clubbing and raves, reflects what risky romy is on decks, the result of a so long linstening experience, formed during so many and good years. “Play Music that makes you happy, and the people will naturally feel that honesty“.
