Praeludium in G major by Bruhns demonstrates the best traits of North German organ music. It contains different parts with virtuosic passages, pedal solos and two five-voice fugues, which require the best skills of organ playing.

Nicolaus Bruhns (1665-1697) was a Danish-German organist, violinist and composer. He was one of the most prominent organists and composers of his generation.
