ITF 2012 Paris Carte blanche a Jacques Casterede Henri-Michel Garzia trombone Upon finishing his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and the Musikhochschule in Freiburg am Breisgau, Henri-Michel Garzia was appointed Principal Trombone of Sinfonieorchester Basel (Switzerland). He is a prizewinner of the “Città di Porcia” International Trombone Competition in Italy. Mr Garzia is an active soloist, recitalist and chamber musician. He has been guest Principal Trombone with l’Orchestre National de l’Opéra de Paris, l’Orchestre National de France, the Mariinsky Theater Orchestra, Bamberg Sinfoniker, the KBS orchestra in Seoul, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Leonard Bernstein, Bernard Haitink, Valery Gergiev, James Levine, Armin Jordan, Nello Santi, Stanisław Skrowaczewski .
