They achieved remarkable results in 2019, winning 1st place overall at FSAE Electric and claiming the top spot in the design category. They also set a record for acceleration in North America. Inspired by their triumph, MFE is now pursuing a more ambitious path. With the help of NX and Simcenter , they are not just improving their design but implementing more radical changes to their vehicle. Their aim is to repeat their previous success and secure another win in 2023! MFE has also benefited from the support of Maya HTT (), a Siemens Digital Industries Software solution partner. They should utilize new materials and manufacturing methods, and deliver new designs within ever shorter design cycles. This requires current engineering practices for product performance verification to evolve into a Digital Twin approach, which enables us to follow a more predictive process for systems-driven product development. Simcenter™ software uniquely combines system simulation, 3D CAE and tests, to help predict performance across all critical attributes, early and throughout the entire product lifecycle. By combining physics-based simulations with insights gained from data analytics, Simcenter helps you optimize design, and deliver innovations faster and with greater confidence.
