600lbs lever action crossbow

I make powerful medieval crossbows and this is no exception at 600lbs in draw weight, but I use a slightly different goats foot lever to span it and span it upside down; the Italian way. It is also an excuse to get back to my roots and show the workings of the bow, the lever, the spanning method and explain why medieval bows are grossly inefficient and I even get some rather nifty shooting in.
