Hayabusa Turbo Power in a tiny Citroen Saxo #HillclimbMonster
Built and developed by the Spanish Team Outed Racing and driven by Cristobal Serantes, this is probably the most extreme Citroen Saxo we have ever seen on Hillclimb Racing. Pretty much only the roof and windshield are left from the original car with it now being a mixture of Carbon Fibre and Aluminium from its spaceframed Chassis to all the rest of its bodywork while being powered by a Suzuki Hayabusa Engine in Turbocharged form.
All this is good for some tremendous numbers, with power on the region of 350Hp (on low boost, with the possibility of surpassing 500hp with higher levels), while weighing only 600Kg. With the engine positioned in rear-central position and power delivered to the Rear Wheels, it is the “perfect storm“ to create a machine that simply had no rivals on the Hillclimbs where it competed this year.
