A decade after winning Eurovision 2012 with “Euphoria“, Swedish singer Loreen continues to reinvent herself. “Neon Lights“ — her new single — marks an evolution in her soundscape. The bombastic electropop track features swirling synths, which have become a trademark of her live shows. “I’m extremely nerdy when it comes to synths, especially analogue synths,“ she says. “So much so that these days build my entire live shows around them.“ She spoke with us at her hotel in Turin a few days before the grand final of Eurovision 2022.
