Vagabond Reeds - Who Walks In When I Walk Out

Recorded Oct. 24, 2007, at the Bourbon Street Grille in Monona, WI. Dave MacGregor organized the Vagabond Reeds about 6 years ago. The group is based on the style of Bob Wilbur and Kenny Davern’s Soprano Summit of the 1960s. Kim was substituting this particular evening for Harold Smith. The Vagabond Reeds Band is featured at the Bourbon Street Grille on one Wednesday each month. The band this evening consisted of Dave McGregor, bass clarinet; Kim Cusack, clarinet; Jack Mielahn, banjo; Doc Westring, piano; Guy Fiorenza, bass; and Rick Becker (tho’ you can’t see him on the film clip unfortunately), drums.
