In this Rhino 6 training lesson we’ll be creating a Technical Drawing Layout for an A3 sized page, and we’ll also create a title block & apply dimensions to our drawing. The link to the Rhino .3dm file of the chair used in this lesson is avaiable here:
Whilst the lesson is for a piece of furniture (an Eames Replica chair), you can use these techniques in Matrix, MatrixGold or any other jewellery plugins you use with Rhino. Also note the page size can be set to a smaller size A4, Legal, etc and you can also change the scale from 1:10 to 1:1 or 1:2 which is suitable for jewellery. If you save the layout (minus the chair and dimensions) you can “import“ any .3dm drawing into it. You might want to create a few different layouts for different requirements.
