Brooklyn’s Border Crisis – Male Migrant Shelter Opens Steps From a Children’s School

Irina Edelstein was shocked to learn a 400-bed male-only migrant shelter would open near her children’s Brooklyn school without sufficient notice. The shelter, which opened in April, has led to increased safety concerns among the community, with rising crime rates and incidents involving migrants citywide.
