Un nuevo foco de emisión del volcán de Cumbre Vieja, en la isla de La Palma, se ha abierto este sábado más al oeste del foco principal, según ha informado el Instituto Volcanológico de Canarias. Desde el Gobierno de Canarias celebran el buen funcionamiento de los dispositivos de seguridad, teniendo en cuenta, tal y como ha reconocido el presidente regional, Ángel Víctor Torres, que la seguridad de las personas es prioritaria.
