hi my loves, my new EP “teenage nightmare!” is finally yours. go stream and cry your eyes out with me. a year ago, i was the most depressed i’d been in years. i wasn’t talking to friends, i didn’t want to write music, and i felt like i was going to completely disappear. but now, in this moment, i feel so much joy and pride in being an artist and being able to give you this project. this EP took blood, sweat, and tears to create as an independent artist. writing every song while i was still in school, creating treatments for the music videos, and building the world around “teenage nightmare!” was a painstaking process. i’m sitting here, crying as i’m typing this, because i’m happy to say that this project is now out in the world. this EP is the story of me reconciling with my teenage years, rewriting myself as the main character of a teenage movie that i never really saw myself in. i was dealt with so much trauma growing up and i never really learned how to process
