A Bio Friendly Amphibious Robot AmphiSAW רובוט אמפיבי ידידותי לסביבה

This video presents the AmphiSAW robot. The Robot relies on a unique wave producing mechanism using a single motor. The AmphiSAW is one of the fastest amphibious robots and the most energy efficient amphibious robot. Its Bio-inspired mechanism is bio-friendly as it allows the robot to swim among fish without intimidating them. It can be used for search and rescue applications (in flooded disaster zones for example) as well as monitoring and robotic aquaculture. Developed at the Bioinspired and Medical Robotics Lab at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev by Omer Guetta, Dan Shachaf, Rotem Katz and David Zarrouk.
