Beaded Pumpkin Earrings - Brick Stitch - Bead Weaving - Halloween

Brick Stitch is one of the bead weaving basics that is so versatile! It’s a suer stitch to have in your “beading bank“ - great if you’re wanting to bead a specific shape - perhaps something that is asymmetrical like an animal, character or plant / flower. In this demo, we’re taking on Halloween - but fun time Halloween (nothing scary to see here) with these cute earrings. You will not only learn the fundamentals of brick stitch, but you’ll also learn how to increase and decrease your rows to attain the desired shape. I’ve created the pumpkins in regular, round Size 8/0 seed beads as it’s far easier to show you the techniques when using slightly larger beads. But you could make them in any sized seed bead that you have in your stash. Delicas would work really well too - owing to their perfect cylindrical shape they stack beautifully, just like bricks!
