Formed early 2008 in Mechelen (Belgium), Marche Funèbre started out as disciples of doom death metal in the vein of the British bands that formed the scene in the 90ties. Later on, the quintet developed their own sound, combining elements from doom, death, black and heavy metal, meandering between soothing melodies and galloping riffs.
Meanwhile releasing an interesting discography, consisting of 4 full length albums and a handful of other releases. On the live front they established their name through energetic shows all over Europe, and even landing them a US tour. They shared the stage with most of the big names in their scene and beyond.
On their 15th anniversary show the band waved long time guitar player Peter goodbye, while the doomed quintet still recorded their 5th album in their long lasting line-up, this time with renowned producer Martin Furia (Destruction,
