I’ll introduce you to the technical vocabulary of musical theory and notation. You may already have an understanding of music and how it’s written. But if you don’t, then I hope this will be a useful introduction for you, whether you’re learning English as a foreign language or are a native English speaker. You’ll learn words such as note, flat, sharp, clef, tone, signature, semibreve, timbre, melody, texture, and more. I’ll also talk about some of the words that are different in the UK and the US.
