ROK military showcases new small-sized tactical vehicles

Korea’s military is busy test-driving its newest line of light-utility vehicles, that will eventually replace the current fleet of KM-131 Jeeps. The new vehicle is powered by an 225 horsepower engine,...boasting more speed and power than the 130 horsepower KM-131, and it can even operate in slopes of over 60 degrees. For the month of April only, the vehicles have been deployed at the country’s 12th Infantry Division in Gangwondo Province, as well as the 2nd Marine division in Gyeonggido Province.
