Learn to Play the Corn Planting Song on the Native American Style Flute - a traditional Hopi song
The Corn Planting Song is a traditional Hopi song. I consider it an intermediate level song because of its unusual off beat note changes ( syncopated rhythm) and its use of notes outside the normal pentatonic scale. But it’s a song that I believe a lot of people that consider themselves beginners will be able to enjoy. If you find your fingers are comfortable playing the pentatonic scale (the first set of notes we all learn on the Native American Style Flute) and you would like to learn some new avenues to play down this is a good song to learn.
