Story line: “ My wife Emily, my son Ben, and I were lying on the bed and just looking out the window, snow-white flakes of snow flying past at great speed and mesmerizing us with their charm. Ben, meanwhile, lay between us and slept soundly. Opposite the large and soft bed, a fireplace was burning, producing pleasant sounds of crackling wood. Our faithful dog Buddy and cute cat Lucy were lying by the fireplace. They were also sleeping, and occasionally made sounds of snoring; it was clear that they really liked it here. We all went on each of our trips together, since Lussy and Buddy also loved to visit new places. This time we decided to travel in winter to a cold, snowy region that was famous for its huge forests, high mountains and charming nature. I rented a small wooden house there in the middle of the forest in advance. It was a small village consisting of only 12 houses, and each of them was relatively far from each other. Therefore, here we felt like we were at the end of the world, we felt good here. The fresh air and the vast, vast beauty of nature did not leave us indifferent. Our house was very cozy and comfortable to live in; it had all the necessary furniture, as well as a wood-burning fireplace that warmed the house well. The house consisted of only one room, a kitchen and a bathroom. We cooked our own meals, lit the fireplace, and did other household chores. There was no additional service here, but we didn’t need it. In our free time, we went on snow slides, sledding, skiing, skating, walked in the forest, made snowmen, went to the bathhouse, and just relaxed. We also spent a lot of time in the house reading books, playing board games, cooking, drinking tea with freshly made apple pie, and just talking. There was no Internet, Wi-Fi or social networks here, it was unnecessary! We also had a fun Christmas here and were happy to be in this wonderful place.
