Single String Playing - Mick Goodrick Style (’The Advancing Guitarist’)

In this lesson, recorded in the early hours of the morning, I take you though how I practice one of the best things to improve your freedom on the fret-board; single string playing. Using the example of Eb Lydian (you could use this for any mode/key), which happened to be the mode of the day, we look at how I approach some of the ideas presented by Mick Goodrick in his amazing book ’The Advancing Guitarist’. If you haven’t heard the man’s music, I recommend this album: Music Magus ’Theme’: The Carnage Period (Aleister James Campbell) Don’t forget to ’Like’ and Subscribe if you dig the content, ya dig..?
