Wishing Prince Edward a Happy 59th Birthday! Prince Edward holds titles like Earl of Wessex and Duke of Edinburgh, given by King Charles in 2023. On his wedding day, Prince Edward became Earl of Wessex instead of receiving a dukedom which princes often receive from the monarch. His mother gave him the title Earl of Forfar for Scotland in March 2018, and on March 10, 2023, King Charles made him Duke of Edinburgh. In 1999, Edward married Sophie Rhys-Jones, and they celebrated 20 years together in 2019. Prince Edward is the only one of his siblings who has not divorced.
