Building a Hatz Classic - Wing Ribs (part 2)

We finish the first wing rib on our Hatz Classic build! This is the very first completed part for our project plane; one of 32 “ribs“ that make up the substructure of the four biplane wings. The ribs and spars are all made of aircraft-grade sitka spruce wood, held together by plywood gussets and structural epoxy. This method of construction is lightweight and strong! Hope you are enjoying these videos, which are a bit different than our usual adventure vlogs.
