As I was out looking for an overgrown lawn to mow I stumbled upon this home of a single mother of eight children. Upon looking at her yard, I could tell that she was in dire need of some help. The grass was tall and overgrown, reaching up to 2-3 feet in some places, and the ivy was growing up the side of her house. The fence line was covered in brush and debris, making it impossible for her mow on her own. I began mowing her lawn, trimming the edges and clearing out the overgrown vegetation. However, my good deed did not go unnoticed, as a concerned neighbor was awoken by the noise and confronted me. At first, the neighbor was unhappy with my actions. But after taking the time to explain what I was doing she was very pleased and happy that I was their to help.
