The Masquerader (1914) - Charlie Chaplin

Charlie plays an actor who bungles several scenes and is kicked out. He returns convincingly dressed as a lady and charms the director, but Charlie never makes it into the film. The plot involving a man dressing up as a woman is quite popular in old silent movies. The Masquerader is a 1914 film written and directed by Charles Chaplin and starring Chaplin and Roscoe Arbuckle. Its running time is 9 minutes. It is the tenth film directed and the second written by Chaplin. Creative Commons License: Public Domain. #CharlieChaplin #movies #films
