“Tango“ - amazing dance of men

It is a stunning work of art, a passionate exploration of a dance form that has achieved near-religious status in Spanish-speaking cultures. Mario Suarez (Miguel Angel Sola) is a forty-something director suffering from a mid-life crisis. His wife Laura has left him, and to combat his severe depression, he throws himself into his work, the making of a film about tango. His main investor, Angel Larroca (Luis Galiardo), who is obsessed with a beautiful and gifted dancer Elena (Mia Maestro), convinces Mario to cast her in the film’s lead role. Slowly, though conscious of the incredible dangers they face, Mario and Elena fall in love, and all the creative components of the film start to mesh harmoniously as he draws on his past experiences to construct the film’s narrative. His dangerous passion feeds TANGO’s progress, building toward a climactic final dance scene.
