Testimony of Reem Al-Assar, a young girl on a hospital bed with wounds covering her face, barely able to speak. Reem recounts her experience during the Nuseirat camp massacre on June 8th, when U.S. and Israeli Special Forces bombarded and raided the area, killing over 274 civilians and injuring at least 698 others, in an attempt to retrieve 4 hostages. She describes how, around 9:30 or 10 AM, explosions erupted everywhere, creating chaos and confusion. As Reem and her family tried to flee to her grandfather’s place, they encountered foggy streets and snipers. She narrowly escaped being shot when a bullet hit a piece of metal near her. After that, quadcopters and Special Forces descended upon them, forcing her family to return home and huddle together in one room. The traumatic events left her struggling to recall what happened next, which led her to the hospital bed. Source: 🇵🇸 Eye on Palestine
