They are demonstrating their support for Italy’s entry into World War One against Austria. People are walking along the streets. Some carry flags. High angle shot of large crowds held back by police. Some of the crowd appear to be holding Italian flags. Closer shot shows some people on the balcony of building. (The voice over suggests that this is the Italian Embassy). More crowds of Italians and Italian supporters in London. 01:18:40 Dark shot of Italian troops marching. Italian troops moving on skis through snow covered landscape. They are dragging a sledge behind them. Italian troops skiing down wooded hillside. 01:19:03 Group of British soldiers tossing colleague in the air from sheet. As the ship sinks under the water, sailors can be seen leaping into the sea. She capsizes completely, men can be seen running across the hull as it rolls.
