Listen to the soundtrack of “A Beautiful Life“ here: “A Beautiful Life“ is a Netflix film about Elliott, a young fisherman with an extraordinary voice, who gets the chance of a lifetime when high-profile manager Suzanne discovers him at a party. Elliott is played by Christopher in his first ever leading role. “Hope This Song Is For You“ was the first soundtrack released by the feature film. The soundtrack was a massive hit on Danish radio and the song highlights one of the many scenes where the main character Elliot surprises with the strength of his own songs and his escalating love for the music producer Lilly, who is played by the actress Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas. Acting was a new challenge for the Danish pop star Christopher, but also a dream come true – a dream that would need his full attention while going through a new phase in his own life: ”Since day 1 of this project, Mehdi Avaz (director) has trusted and believed in me for this part as Elliott. I knew I had to throw myself into this fantastic and completely mad, new experience. But I was no-longer a 20-year-old kid chasing a dream but a dad of two and a husband to my beloved wife. Going through this process, I realized that the ones I love at home and my career are two separate paths but somehow united and something I can’t live without.” (Christopher, 2023) The soundtrack of “A Beautiful Life” combines a collection of different moods with diverse musical genres and sounds. From an folk-inspired pop, to the irresistible “Honey, I’m So High“ and all the way to the emotional and encapsulating theme of the film. Despite the film telling another person’s story, Christopher’s personality manages to shine through, while his voice shines just as strongly throughout the film. This can be particularly felt in the following quote that Christopher has stated: “The choices you make today will affect your life tomorrow. Not only your own life, but also the lives of others, especially if you have dreams and ambitious goals you want to achieve.
